Product QR and labels

1. Add a manufacturer and product

Open Products in an organization workspace. Existing product feedback subjects can be enriched without replacing their forms, reviews or printed codes. Use a variant for sizes or configurations, and a batch for a traceable lot. GTIN validation checks digits, not manufacturer ownership.

Manage manufacturer/brand records from Products > Brands. The Products page lists catalog entries in a table; Preview opens their details without leaving the list. Use organization-approved names, logos and images; adding a manufacturer does not verify an affiliation.

1. Add the manufacturer name and optional public logo.
2. Add the product, variant, optional SKU and description.
3. Upload a product image you have permission to publish.

2. Generate permanent product codes

Generate QR returns the same canonical code on subsequent requests. A batch can have its own code. Select up to 100 catalog entries for bulk generation. Product codes have no campaign expiry and cannot be reassigned to another subject.

1. Generate the product QR.
2. Download PNG, SVG or label PDF.
3. Use Test product QR to verify the destination before printing.

3. Print bottle and packaging labels

Label Studio uses the existing Print Studio renderer. Choose a small bottle, packaging label or A4 sticker sheet. Set dimensions, padding and sheet gaps to match your stock. Invalid geometry and QR modules smaller than 0.4 mm are rejected.

1. Save the design to generate the real preview.
2. Download vector PDF or SVG. Print at actual size without fit-to-page scaling.
3. Scan a physical sample on several phones and check the readable fallback URL before a print run.

4. Receive and manage feedback

Customers scan without an account or app. Product and batch details are filled automatically. The QR purpose determines the feedback message; customers choose another type only when that code explicitly allows it. Forms support emoji and star ratings, optional comments and contact permission. Private image attachments require an active paid workspace plan.

The inbox receives product feedback notifications, including positive reactions. Filter by product or batch, classify feedback, assign permitted staff, escalate case priority and view actual product analytics.

5. Publish only authorized reviews

Public review consent is separate from optional private follow-up. Publish only reviews with explicit publication consent. Moderation must use content reasons; do not remove low scores to inflate ratings. Contact details and private complaints never appear in public review feeds.

A permitted moderator can publish the review and add a public manufacturer reply. Existing product review widgets display published reviews and replies as text.

6. Run the founding product demonstration

The seed_product_demo command requires DEBUG and DEMO_PASSWORD. It creates an explicitly marked demonstration organization and 4Q Life Sciences ACK Lysing Buffer, 100 mL, without invented customer reviews or a claim of manufacturer endorsement.

Generate and print the label, scan it on a phone, submit a clearly marked demonstration compliment or authorized review, check the manufacturer inbox notification, and publish only when consent permits.
