Integration API

Create, use and rotate a read-only integration secret safely.

Create a key

Open Organization settings > Profile & integrations and find Integration API keys. Integration-management permission is required. Name the key after its consuming system, such as Reporting server.

New secrets are masked and have reveal/copy controls. Save the secret before leaving: the complete token is available only at creation and cannot be retrieved later. A public widget key is a different credential.

Make a server-side request

The key grants read-only access to your workspace's integration targets endpoint. Use the Lipback production host shown below and replace YOUR_API_KEY with your own token. Send requests from your server rather than public website code.

curl "https://lipback.com/api/v1/integrations/targets/" -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

Rotate or revoke

  1. Create a replacement key. Store it in the consuming server's environment or secret manager.
  2. Update the integration and verify an authorized request succeeds.
  3. Revoke the old key. Requests using it should stop working.

API reference and errors

The interactive reference describes current request and response schemas. Actual access still depends on authentication, scope, permissions and enabled modules.

Handle authentication, authorization and validation errors separately. Do not show success when a request fails or retry a denied request endlessly.
